Parking in Brighton and Hove

We would always recommend using public transport, either trains, taxi's or buses to get to Brighton & Hove.

The central area of the City Centre, is easily accessible on foot or by using the efficient and cheap taxi's and buses.

If it is not possible to use public transport and you have to take your car into the City (and don't have accommodation with parking available), this map shows you the areas that have controlled parking zones, where you must either have a residents permit or pay for on street parking at prices varying from £1 to £3.50 an hour. Parking outside these zones on the street is free and we recommend trying areas off London Road and Preston Road in the Preston Park, Withdean, Patcham and Westdene areas of the City, where on street parking is unrestricted.

If you want to park closer to the city centre, see map for available public car parks from around £20 per day.

Disclaimer: Please note This information is given in good faith, but that these zones are subject to change and we suggest you check road signs when you arrive to ensure you are parked correctly, as brightongetaways.com can not be held responsible for any charges incurred.
